Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet is the story of a family saga that begins a little more than 30 years ago, driven by a desire to offer an alternative to traditional hotels, ones that would be intimate and authentic, overflowing with warmth and a soul, where one would feel at home.
In 1981, Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet boldly take on the adventure of a small boutique hotel in Megève and they enrich it by cultivating a new art of living in the mountains.

In 1989, they lay the groundwork for a fabled odyssey at Les Fermes de Marie, today the hallmark of the art of living in the Alps.

Just before taking on the legendary Hotel Mont-Blanc to which they gave a new elegance and offer it some of its best years to come starting in 1994.

Two years later, the Sibuet touch takes over the Lodge Park which quickly becomes the chic trendy trapper haunt of Megève.

The entrepreneurial spirit of Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet then brings them to Provence and La Bastide de Marie, an enchanting retreat in the heart of the vineyards.

Then to Lyon where they sublimate with style the majestic volumes of Cour des Loges.

Back in the South of France, they are seduced by Villa Marie and the “Riviera” atmosphere of Saint- Tropez.

In 2011, the adventure continues with the whole family, joined by their daughter Marie and their son Nicolas, the Sibuets reinvent the art of living in the mountains in a contemporary style with Altapura in Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe.

2013 is the year of love at first sight for Domaine de la Baume in Tourtour and its 18th century bourgeois mansion, set delicately between heaven and earth among the olive groves, followed closely by the most recent addition, the mythic Hôtel des Dromonts, an historic establishment in Avoriaz, a ski area that won over the hearts of the Sibuet family.
Tucked away in a Provencal vineyard or on the snowy slopes, each address is stamped with a unique atmosphere, matched impeccably to its exact environment: local cuisine with sundrenched dishes or hearty winter flavors, terraced olive groves that extend to infinity or immaculately manicured gardens, vibrant colorful fabrics or antiques from the far north… And it is in this way that the Maisons et Hôtels philosophy is felt, and now infused with passion by the 2nd generation of the family, Marie and Nicolas.
